Chanel Vuong, Biology and Chemistry, Sophomore

HSEB Council: Service Co-Chair

Hello! I'm Chanel, and I'm a sophomore double majoring in Biology and Chemistry. One of my earliest and most genuine memories in Honors was on the first night I moved in, when everyone had an impromptu get together in the floor's common area and, upon learning about a few VCU Honors College conspiracy theories, tried to go ghost hunting in the elevator well into the night. It was possibly one of the strangest yet warmest welcomes I have ever received. I joined HSEB because I want to help recreate and cultivate that feeling of hospitality and togetherness, so that the feeling is carried on by the VCU Honors College students, themselves, rather than stopped outside of the bounds of the VCU Honors College building.
