M2M is a multi-focus daylong hacking competition — capture the flag/jeopardy-style — that tests competitors’ cyber- and cyber-physical security skills in a variety of machine-to-machine challenges. M2M combines computer engineering and electrical engineering to offer challenges that require competitors to confront all aspects of modern security. Sign up in a team of 2 to 4 people to complete challenges of varying difficulties that require specialized knowledge of electrical engineering and computer engineering.

Unlike many hacking competitions, M2M is an entirely sponsor-driven event. Our awesome sponsors enable us to provide fantastic challenges, prizes, facilities, and food at no expense to our competitors.
All you need is a laptop capable of connecting to WiFi. We recommend installing a virtual machine or dual-boot with Kali Linux. Through the competition we will be providing various hardware for you to use. All teams will be given the same hardware and are responsible for any installation required.
M2M will be providing breakfast and lunch.
That’s okay! We can put you on a team with others also participating. Teams will be made up of a minimum of 3 people and a maximum of 4.
