Student Options & Rates
Students are welcome to purchase their semester parking through the online portal. We offer a number of available parking options for students on the Monroe Park and MCV campuses. Please note, parking options vary by space availability and parking is sold via lottery system on the MCV Campus and on a first come, first served basis on the Monroe Park Campus.
All student permits offer reciprocal parking privileges. You may learn more about our reciprocal parking privileges on the "Student Reciprocal Parking" page.
Student Permit Types
- Commuter flex permits (with the exception of 24-hr. commuter permits) are valid for 19 hours daily, Monday through Friday, in your designated parking location and for 19 hours (select facilities) on Saturday and Sunday, in any unrestricted lot.
- This permit is ideal for students who are driving back and forth to campus each day.
- Evening Permits are valid from 3:30pm to 2 am, Monday through Friday, in your designated parking location and from 3:30pm to 2am, Saturday and Sunday, in any unrestricted lot.

- Unrestricted lots can be found in Student Reciprocal Parking.
- This permit is ideal for students with evening classes only that begin after 3:30 p.m.
- Housing permits are valid 24 hours, 7 days per week.
- We offer two types of housing permits: "off-campus (24/7 commuter)" and "on-campus." Off-campus/24-7 commuter permits are beneficial for students residing within a 5 mile radius of VCU's campuses. "On-campus" housing permits are intended for students residing in a VCU residence hall.
- Students holding housing permits are required to park on the top two levels of your designated parking facility.

Two-week temporary permit: Students may purchase a two-week permit for designated locations online at https://vcu.t2hosted.com/Account/Portal. Permits are valid for two consecutive weeks at R Lot, West Broad St. Deck or West Cary St. Deck.
