VCU shuttle
To help supplement GRTC ridership and support VCU community members traveling cross-campus with increased safety concerns, VCU Parking and Transportation will launch a temporary express shuttle on Friday, August 14. Coach-style RMA Worldwide buses will service Cabell Library, One Capitol Square and McGuire Hall Annex during the hours of 6 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday, through Nov. 25, 2020.
Physical distancing guidelines will be strongly enforced, with no more than 24 passengers permitted on each bus at one time.
The cross-campus shuttle will resume with limited service for the spring 2021 semester on Monday, January 25 and will operate Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m, through Friday, May 14. One shuttle will be available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with an additional shuttle on the route from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. To accommodate the reduced service hours, students and employees may contact RamSafe for cross-campus rides during the hours of 5 p.m. to 8 a.m., as cross-campus restrictions have been temporarily lifted, effective Monday, Nov. 9.
