Our department is made up of forty full-time teaching and research (T&R) faculty members, three full-time staff members, two emeritus professors, two postdoctoral fellows, as well as an abundance of adjunct and affiliate faculty members, all of whom contribute to our mission to achieve excellence in our professional and graduate programs through innovative education and leading-edge research.
We offer M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences with specialization in Pharmacotherapy to applicants who already have completed requirements for a pharmacy degree, graduate degrees in Pharmacoeconomics and Health Outcomes, and several dual degrees.
Department faculty members excel in teaching the principles of appropriate drug therapy and pharmacy administration to professional and graduate students, residents, and fellows. We strive to engage professional students in educational experiences that ensure competence and instill commitment to improving patient-centered pharmacy care, and to develop and enhance our graduate and postgraduate programs. Recognizing the complexity of the continually evolving profession of pharmacy, we are dedicated to providing a high-quality education to the next generation of pharmacy practitioners.
