The VCU Department of Radiology's emergency radiology section is an active clinical and academic service. Our radiologists are responsible for the interpretation of emergency imaging at VCU Health and its affiliated Level 1 Trauma Center and comprehensive stroke center.
We work closely with the VCU Department of Emergency Medicine and the Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery in the VCU Department of Surgery, as well as a number of other clinical services that are involved in emergent patient care.
