Neuroradiology is comprised of fellowship-trained, board certified radiologists who are highly skilled in providing precise diagnosis and appropriate therapy for the best medical outcomes.
Neuroradiology is comprised of fellowship-trained, board certified radiologists who are highly skilled in computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance (MR) imaging, perfusion imaging and MR spectroscopy. Our radiologists also perform image-guided procedures for diagnostic purposes including fluoroscopic-guided lumbar punctures, myelograms, cisternograms, and diagnostic cerebral and spinal angiography.

Neuroradiology is integral to VCU Health's designation as a Level I Stroke and Trauma Center. There is active collaboration with specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, ear-nose-throat (ENT), and oncology to offer life-saving treatments.
