Welcome to SAEO!

We are the designated office on VCU's Monroe Park Campus charged with fostering an environment where all students have equal access to the University's programs, services, and activities.

Important Updates

New Student Access Orientation - As a compliment to New Student Orientation SAEO will be holding our New Student Access Orientation program. These sessions are designed for students interested in disability and accessibility-related supports to help facilitate a smooth transition to VCU. To register and attend one of the sessions, or for additional questions, contact Ricardo Clauden-Cross at raclauden@vcu.edu. The dates are as follows and you 

  • June 17 5:15 - 6:00
  • June 24, 3:00 - 3:45
  • July 15, 5:15 - 6:00
  • July 29, 3:00 - 3:45
  • August 12, 3:00 - 3:45

If you are an incoming or current student interested in connecting with our team to discuss possible accommodations or disability-related supports or if you have general questions or concerns about accessibility, feel free to contact us at (804) 828-2253 or saeo@vcu.edu. We encourage you to visit our registration page and start the process of registering with the SAEO office as soon as possible. This is an important and necessary step to help us get to know you and how we may be able to support you during your time at VCU.

Are you already registered?

The best way to start a semester off strong is to provide your instructors with a copy of your accommodation letter as soon as possible. Please visit our Accommodation Letters page so we know you would like a copy of your accommodation letter for this semester. 

Now is also a great time to connect with your case manager if you have any questions about your accommodations or general concerns about the semester.
