Announcement
The final phase of the Avaya PBX upgrade project is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16 between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
There will be two, 5 - 10 minute outages of all phones on the VCU, VCUHealth and Children’s Hospital of Richmond - Brook Rd. campuses. The outages will also affect adjunct systems (e.g., SPOK, CMS) that depend on the PBX.
The first outage will occur at the beginning of the maintenance window. A second outage of the same duration will occur several hours later. The specific timing of the second outage will depend on many factors related to events the evening of the upgrade.
Please plan to have alternate means of communication during the entire maintenance window.
