The Anderson

The Anderson is VCUarts’ on-campus gallery, serving the VCU community through a dynamic and constantly evolving program of student and professional exhibitions, projects, and events.

At the Anderson, students are recognized as artists in their own right, empowered to push their artistic practices and engage with audiences as they hone their work.

Tuesday–Friday 12–6pm & Saturday 12–5pm

Closed Sundays & Mondays.

Please note that visitors to The Anderson must maintain physical distancing when possible and wear an appropriate face covering.

Please visit the VCU COVID-19 blog for more information.

The Anderson has a metal ramp that can be utilized at the front entrance if needed for accessibility, as the entrance is one stair step above ground level. Unfortunately, The Anderson building is not equipped with an elevator, so the upper floors are not accessible to people in wheelchairs or those with limited mobility. Virtual visits can be scheduled! Email for more info.
