The VCU Child Development Center offers full-day care and developmentally-appropriate education for the families of VCU faculty, staff and students, as well as the community.
Far more than just a daycare, the center's unique relationship with the School of Education benefits both sides. For instance, the center provides the school with unique opportunities for its early-education students, while benefiting from the expertise of its faculty's research.
One of just 12 centers in Richmond to hold a National Association for the Education of Young Children accreditation, the Child Development Center is committed to a safe, nurturing environment for its children, and prides itself on maintaining a close relationship with its families and communities.
Students, faculty, staff, parents and community members can sign up for VCU’s text message alert system to receive immediate information about campus emergencies, weather delays and cancellations. Learn more on the VCU Alert site.
