My research is focused on studying the role of inflammatory pathways in hematologic cancers, bone marrow transplant, and complications. I am particularly interested in identifying and investigating molecular biomarkers that would aid early detection of patients at risk for chronic complications of hematologic malignancies bearing in mind the challenges encountered in its clinical application.
