Research Laboratories

The Department of Pathology at VCUHS has a vibrant and growing research enterprise. Our research and administration space (23,000 nsf) has recently undergone a state-of-the-art renovation.  Currently, our department has 10 principal investigators involved in basic/translational research. Additionally, most of our faculty in the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology divisions are engaged in wide variety of research projects with clinical impact. As a result, there are numerous opportunities for our residents and fellows to engage our faculty in both short- and long-term research projects.
