Graduate Programs

Thank you for your interest in graduate programs in VCU’s Department of Psychology. We offer programs leading to the Doctor of Philosophy degree. These programs provide opportunities for study in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Health Psychology, and our General Psychology Program, which has concentrations in Developmental Psychology or Social Psychology.

General information about graduate study at VCU can be obtained from the VCU Graduate School web site. Application for graduate study in psychology should be initiated online from the VCU Graduate School admissions page. Please note that there is not a separate application for the programs or department.

Although faculty and students work together across programs, each program has unique requirements and emphases. Please refer to each program's link for specific information. Those web pages also include important information concerning admission requirements and application deadlines.
