Program Details

The counseling psychology doctoral program is a full-time program. We do not offer distance learning or part-time enrollment. The graduate program in counseling psychology is a doctoral program; we do not offer a terminal master’s program, though a master’s degree (M.S.) is awarded en route to the Ph.D. upon completion and defense of a master’s thesis.

Program Requirements

100 percent of our students receive tuition waivers and assistantships or fellowships for at least the first four years of training. Though we cannot guarantee funding into the fifth year, most students are successful in procuring fifth year funding as needed.
