Founded in 1955, the Department of Rehabilitation Counseling serves as a national leader in the professional preparation of certified rehabilitation and licensed professional counselors, who exercise skill and competence on a high ethical level and with personal integrity.

The Department of Rehabilitation Counseling is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

The department enjoys solid relationships with many community organizations that serve as excellent sites for clinical training. Our experienced faculty members, accomplished in rehabilitation endeavors, are committed to the development of their students’ skills as well as the lifelong enhancement of their own.

  • Passing Rates for Comprehensive Measure of Student Learning

    The Department of Rehabilitation Counseling previously required that each student sit for the Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) Examination prior to graduation. The most recent CRC Outcome Data Report of Students and Graduates: October 10, 2015 through July 22, 2017 (Provided by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) is as follows:
