Honors College fee: A fee assessed to any student enrolled in the Honors College to help finance student enhancements and to support the Honors lecture series - $75 per semester.
Online course fee: A fee charged for undergraduate and graduate online courses. The fee is for operational and personnel support to develop and maintain online courses - $40 per credit hour or a maximum of $120 per semester. This fee is being waived for the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters.
VCU Globe fee: A fee assessed to any student enrolled in the Globe Program - $50 per semester.
As of July 1, 2016, the U.S. Department of Education has regulated that institutions may not require a student to use Title IV financial aid funds to purchase books or supplies charged in excess of standard tuition and fees. The majority of the tuition surcharges and fees assessed by VCU with a component for books and supplies meets the requirements for using Title IV funds. Listed below are courses with excess fees that do not meet that requirement.
