    Blackboard Course Restore Procedure

    Procedure Statement and Purpose:
Courses are kept on the production system for two years. After that, courses are saved in the archives for three years. For these archived courses to be restored back to the Blackboard system, the instructor of the course must put in a request to have the course restored.

The ticket request must also provide the exact course ID of the course being restored (i.e., MISC-101-001-2013Fall). An archived course cannot be searched using the course title, instructor name, or CRN. If this information is not provided, the course cannot be restored.

    Who Should Read this Procedure?
Faculty/Instructor users of the Blackboard system
