**Notice - Kaltura CaptureSpace is being retired on May 31st, 2019. There is a new personal capture called Kaltura Personal Capture which will function and resemble more like the well known Kaltura Classroom software. All previous recordings from Kaltura CaptureSpace will still stay present in your MediaSpace gallery.
Users may now notice that the option, NEW! Kaltura Capture, is available under the +ADD NEW option in MediaSpace. See Kaltura Capture for more information.
Students cannot use CaptureSpace from the Blackboard Media Gallery (Tools/Communications >> Media Gallery.)
There are two ways for users to use CaptureSpace from within Blackboard; otherwise, users must log in to Kaltura - My Media directly.
1. Within Blackboard, students can go to the My Blackboard tab and click on Kaltura - My Media from the Quick Links module.

2. Click Add New >> Launch CaptureSpace
3. Agree to the terms and conditions.
Note: If the user has never opened CaptureSpace Desktop Recorder previously, they will be prompted to download it.
4. Once Kaltura Capturespace Desktop Recorder is downloaded, select Open. This will launch the desktop recorder.
