Are you ready to be a sophomore?

The Sophomore Transition Series is for all first-year students. In addition to one-on-one advising appointments, the sophomore transition series includes amazing opportunities to connect students with campus resources to prepare them for their second year at Virginia Commonwealth University. 

From Backpack to Briefcase: You're Hired!

Do you know what skills you need in order to land your dream job? Have you acquired those necessary skills? It’s time to complete the “Gap Analysis” assessment. The assessment enables you to “identify the differences between your current skill levels and qualifications as compared to the requirements of the job you’re considering in order to develop your strategic action plan to bridge the gaps.” Come learn how to move from backpack to briefcase by using the gap analysis and major maps tools; as you prepare to hear, “You’re hired!”
