Joining a fraternity or sorority at VCU can definitely enhance your college experience. Whether it be finding a social niche, helping you reach your academic goals or helping our community, membership in a fraternity or sorority adds an element to the college experience for which there is no substitute.
At VCU, we offer a diverse mix of fraternities and sororities with the hopes that everyone who wants to join a group finds one that closely matches their values and personalities.
The Office of Civic Engagement and Fraternity & Sorority Life at VCU provides guidance and support to 40 international fraternities and sororities at Virginia Commonwealth University.
The VCU fraternity and sorority community consists of four governing councils: the College Panhellenic Council, the Interfraternity Council, the Multicultural Greek Council and the National Pan-Hellenic Council. These four governing councils provide a governance structure for the 40 chapters, and the overall direction of the community is guided by the professional staff in the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life.
