Fulbright UK Summer Institutes

The Fulbright UK Summer Institutes give American first- and second-year undergraduates the opportunity to study at a highly regarded UK university for three or four weeks over the summer. Learn more about the academic and cultural programs available on the Summer Institutes' website.

Applicants must be US citizens, at least 18 years of age, with a US passport. A GPA of 3.7 or higher is required at the time of application. Applicants must have at least two years of undergraduate study left to complete after completion of their Summer Institute.

The award covers the majority of participant costs, including round-trip airfare, tuition and fees at the host university, accommodation and meals, and in some cases a small daily allowance.
