VDOE T/TAC at VCU is here to support you in finding new ways to meet the needs of students with disabilities and their families during this challenging time.
Virginia Commonwealth University has provided guidelines for university staff, students and employees in response to the COVID-19 virus. The restrictions include a moratorium on all university-sponsored travel, domestic or foreign, until further notice.
Due to COVID-19, our office is operating on a reduced schedule with most employees working from home. During this time, continue to check our website for updates and resources. You can also schedule a virtual office hour session with VDOE T/TAC at VCU staff by completing the request form in the link below.
We look forward to continuing our work together and hope to see you soon. Feel free to contact either co-director if you need assistance:
T/TAC program specialists will not be visiting school sites and we have canceled or postponed our spring events. If you were registered for any of these events you should be getting an email about these changes as well as opportunities to interact virtually and have access to online resources.
Our staff continue to be available for virtual coaching, meetings and professional development addressing critical topics such as teaching remotely, maintaining relationships with students, and partnering with families.
With all the uncertainty and school closures, the educational communities from across the country have come together to provide resources for teachers, students, and families.
In an attempt to help organize some of the resources being shared VDOE T/TAC at VCU has compiled a document that can be found at Virtual Learning Resources.
