Student refunds are automatically issued as a paper check to the address listed within your eServices account unless you request for your refund to be issued via direct deposit.

Students can request direct deposit by completing the Direct Deposit Bank Authorization Form and submitting it to the VCU Disbursement Operations Department (fax, email, and address are listed on the form).

Typically, students participating in the direct deposit program receive their refunds in five to seven business days after the financial aid or scholarship funds have disbursed.

Students not enrolled in direct deposit will receive a refund check via mail. A current permanent mailing address must be on file with the Office of Records and Registration for the refund to be processed.

In accordance with credit card regulations, overpayments made by credit card will be returned to the credit card account.
