The Friends of VCU Libraries is a community of alumni, students, faculty, staff and others who love libraries.
Friends of VCU Libraries Scholarship Fund will assist two students annually, one from the Monroe Park Campus and one from the MCV Campus.
Special Collections and Archives Fund purchases, preserves and makes accessible primary-source materials of 20th- and 21st-century Central Virginia, University archives, Comic Arts and Book Arts and medical artifacts and collections related to the health sciences.
Library of the Future Endowment Fund ensures that future workspaces will keep pace with progress in education and technologies as well as new student needs.
The VCU Libraries Building Fund supports expanding and improving VCU Libraries’ physical spaces. Named spaces are available at various giving levels.
The Interfaith Prayer and Meditation Space will offer an appropriate and respectful space for all to engage in prayer, to practice meditation, to seek a wellness or mindfulness respite, or to simply retreat briefly into solitary contemplation. Fundraising is underway for this space that will serve VCU’s diverse faith community.
The Social Welfare History Project Challenge grant will help strengthen and sustain the project that is a valuable resource for the study and teaching of the history of social welfare in the United States.
