Why give?

Your gifts to VCU Libraries support every student at VCU, our faculty and library community by working to improve library spaces and environments, grow endowments to strengthen collections, replace worn and outdated equipment and furniture and provide for highly specialized projects and priorities in Special Collections and Archives. Gifts to the Friends of VCU Libraries have supported the Open and Affordable Course Content Initiative to reduce the financial burden of expensive textbooks, VCU Libraries Events and Community Zooms to build community dialogue and the Friends of VCU Libraries Scholarship.
