Research Description
My research interests, broadly, include how resilience influences functional outcomes after trauma exposure and what factors predispose an individual to have high levels of resiliency. More specifically, I am interested in how both genetic and environmental factors influence resilience and, in turn, functional outcomes. My long term research goals are focused on distinguishing the shared and distinct contributions of environmental and genetic factors to resiliency after trauma exposure.
