VTSS collects data using the Data Collection Portal. Schools and divisions enter and submit data through one site. The purpose it to consolidate data collected for VTSS evaluation. Using the data submitted, schools will receive individual data reports. School reports will also be provided to Division Coordinators to assist them in working with the schools within their respective school divisions.
Each school is required to submit Midyear and End-of-Year data. Every school establishes a point of contact (POC). During each data collection period, the POC receives a notification email which includes a secure URL used to access the Data Collection Portal and is responsible for collecting, entering, and submitting the data. The data collection instruments and their supplemental materials are given below. After each data collection period, POCs will be provided with their school’s report to share with their school team.
The data collected at Midyear and End-of-Year to evaluate the process and effectiveness of implementing VTSS. At Midyear and End-of-Year division coordinators (DCs) will receive a notification email that includes a secure URL to access their DC dashboard. Using their dashboard, DCs are able to 1) monitor their schools’ progress on the data collection instruments and 2) complete any division level instruments. Below a copy of the data collection instruments and their supplemental materials are provided. DCs are responsible for supporting coaches and points of contact in collecting and submitting requested data by stated deadlines. After each data collection period, DCs will be provided school and division reports to assist them in working with the schools within their respective school divisions.
