About

Each spring, VCU’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations holds the Annual Marquita Aguilar Walk-a-Thon as part of its annual Black & Gold & You employee/team member giving campaign. The walkathon raises funds for the Virginia’s Caring University Scholarship, an undergraduate award for juniors and seniors in financial need with a grade point average of 2.7 or better. To date, the scholarship has helped over 150 undergraduate students continue their education at VCU by raising more than $120,000 scholarship funds. If you would like to take part in the walkathon, register by making a donation above. See you there!

Online donations/registration received after 11:59 p.m. April 22 won’t be included in door prize eligibility. Walk-up registrations begin at the Park Plaza at 11:30 a.m. April 23.
