Effecting change in physicians through feedback; critical moments in leadership development
Burke’s primary area of focus is the use of customized 360 (multirater) feedback as a means of enhancing self-awareness and effectiveness in the workplace. He has utilized 360 feedback extensively in a variety of public and private sector organizations. Burke has presented widely on developing feedback systems and published on the use of feedback with physicians. He also provides individual consultation services to managers and leaders, conducts organizational assessments and presents on a wide variety of topics, including emotional intelligence and organizational change.
Burke has worked in organizational development since 1998. Prior to joining Performance Management Group in 2004, he served as a consultant and then director at the Workplace Initiatives Program in the psychology department at VCU. Before that, he worked as a psychotherapist and a career counselor.
