Providing peer-based support to help VCU students become the strongest writers possible

Fall 2021 writing support

This fall, the Writing Center is offering in-person and virtual appointments from August 24 through December 22. In-person hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. in MCALC and Sunday, 12-5 p.m. in the Health Sciences Library downtown. Online appointments are available during these times, too, with additional remote support Monday through Thursday evenings, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 12-6 p.m.

Fall 2021 hours

In-person hours:

MCALC 4203, Monday through Friday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Health Sciences Library, 1st floor, Sunday: 12-5 p.m. 

Online hours:

Monday through Thursday: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

Friday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday: 12-6 p.m.

Closings

  • Wednesdays from 1-2 pm: Staff Development

    • November 2: Election Day
    • November 22-28: Fall Break
    • December 22-January 17: Winter Break
  • Please note, we will offer online writing support during the holiday intersession, Dec. 27-Jan. 8. The schedule will be announced closer to the start date.
