I am involved in scientific research concerned with cancer therapeutics/translation research. My projects concern different tumor types. I use a number of specific chemotherapeutic compounds, some clinically approved and some trial compounds and small molecule inhibitors, in novel targeted therapeutic combinations. I have successfully re-purposed several compounds not traditionally thought of as anti-cancer cancer agents for use in cancer therapy.
