My research focuses on: 1) Tobacco treatment development and implementation in cancer settings, 2) Smoking cessation in medical populations, specifically lung cancer prevention and pulmonology, 3) Use of technology and social media to leverage smoking cessation and other behavioral health interventions, 4) Behavioral weight management to treat obesity, 5) Prevention of weight regain post bariatric surgery, 6) Physician training/health care provider training in behavioral health interventions, and 7) Disparities in behavioral/health in tobacco control and obesity.
