My research team is conducting studies that focus on the mechanisms of tumor progression, invasion and metastasis, and on effective therapeutic approaches. My laboratory has played a principal role in the field of brain metastasis research through the development of model systems, including paired primary and brain metastatic cell lines, clinic specimens, and animal models. My lab also has extensive research experience in the epigenetics mechanisms of glioma and cancer stem cell and their impacts on cancer cell resistance to therapeutics.
