My current cancer research focus is in collaboration with Dr. Harry Bear. Our project includes the use of a DNAmethyltransferase inhibitor in combination with an intratumorally injected TLR9 agonist in murine models of breast cancer. The goal is to invigorate the immune response against the tumor through the expression of de novo antigens, as well as to study the other various immune effects.
