My research has focused on developing novel in vitro and in vivo models to study the more translational aspects of the role that the Wnt pathway plays in lung cancer, which has resulted in a number of peer-reviewed journal publications. I have been awarded several NIH and Veteran Affairs grants and have trained a number of successful post-docs and junior faculty, whom have gone on to obtain independent funding and have had a long history of developing productive collaborations with other successful VA Merit and R01 funded researchers.
