I have a broad research background in immunology, with specific expertise in tumor immunology and immunotherapy. My research aims to understand the mechanisms underlying immune evasion and suppression during cancer progression and cancer immunotherapies. My primary research interest is to promote the effectiveness of immune checkpoint inhibitors through strengthening co-stimulation and/or antagonizing immunosuppressive signaling in tumor-associated myeloid cells, which could provide new therapeutic targets to achieve optimal antitumor efficacy. I am also interested in reprogramming abnormal lipid metabolism to reinvigorate immune defense against cancer.
