Research description

My research involves development of new platinum-based anticancer drugs to overcome the current problems of intrinsic and acquired resistance to the clinically used drugs cisplatin and carboplatin. Secondly, this research will delineate new indications for difficult to treat cancers not currently sensitive to platinum drugs using a precision medicine approach.
