RAMS Conference at VCU

The Richmond Area Mathematical Sciences (RAMS) Conference at VCU will be held virtually and asynchronously on Saturday, May 1, 2021. The conference promotes education and research in the fields of mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics and operation research. It is tailored for undergraduate and graduate students to present results of their research.

Except for the plenary talk given by Dr. Richard Hammack (VCU) and  Dr. Igor Erovenko (UNC Greensboro), all talks will be given by undergraduate and graduate students.

To give a talk at the conference, submit your abstract (150-250 words) and a video file with your recorded talk (10-15 minutes) through the registration form by Friday, April 16, 2021. The submissions will be reviewed and presenters accepted by April 23. Presentations with more than one presenter should be submitted only once; but we ask that all presenters register for the conference.

The conference will be free to all participants. To attend the conference, you do not have to present a talk. All you need to do is register by April 29, 2021.
