MaxQDAplus is a state-of-the-art instrument for professional text analysis. As one of the pioneers in the field (the first version was released in 1988), it is used by researchers and research institutions from a wide range of scientific disciplines all across the world for computer-assisted qualitative data analysis.
MAXQDAplus contains the add-on MAXDictio, a fully integrated software for dictionary-based content analysis. MAXDictio allows for setting up word frequency lists, dictionaries, stop- and go- lists, etc.
Five (5) concurrent use licenses of MaxQDAplus are available for use by VCU researchers on the App2Go Server.
Using a Windows, Mac or Linux computer, you can access MaxQDAplus via a browser window. Although MaxQDAplus runs on the App2Go Server, it appears to be running on your PC. You can open, save and print files from your PC. Applications on the App2Go server are available to support research projects and are not intended for instructional use.
Only current VCU faculty, staff, and students may access MaxQDAplus on the App2Go Server. Documentation on how to use the App2Go Server will provide you details such as system requirements, installation, opening files, saving files and printing.
