      Our Responsibilities

      The Infrastructure team is responsible for analyzing the Banner application and its supporting or auxiliary applications for server, network, and security provisioning. The team also installs, configures, deploys, and upgrades these applications. The team works primarily in Unix operating systems on over 50 servers on over 50 applications.  The team also provides application-required Oracle database administration and Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, and other middleware install and configurations.  The group manages all SAS servers and SAS software installation and configuration.  The team builds environments and source code repositories for Administrative Systems Application Support developers. They are also responsible for the movement of developer changes into Production environments.
