System Monitoring
The VCUCC NOC Staff monitors the server environment 24x7 with the aid of the Xymon Monitoring System. Xymon allows the team to provide real-time information about individual system uptime and status. Most servers at VCU are monitored through Xymon.
Alerts can be configured to provide email notification of various system issues, so you will always know the status of your system. Monitoring can be tailored to match your requirements.
