      Work Request Deadlines-Holiday Winter Closing

      VCU will close its faculty and staff offices from Monday, December 23, 2024 - Wednesday,  January 01, 2025, for the winter break. 

       

      To ensure all work requests with completion due date requirements of December 09, 2024 – January 06, 2025, are met, VCU Telecommunications and Network Services have established the following work request deadlines.

       

       PROJECT SCOPE

      DEADLINE TO REQUEST PRICING

      DEADLINE TO SUBMIT ORDER

      Less than 10 voice and/or data lines, voicemail boxes, etc. (installations/disconnects)

      November 25, 2024 

      December 06, 2024 

      10 or more voice and/or data lines, voicemail boxes, etc. (installations/disconnects)

      November 18, 2024 

      November 29, 2024

       

      VCU Telecommunications and Network Services will accept work requests after the deadlines noted above; however, we are unable to guarantee requested due dates will be met.

       

      Work requests, with project scopes defined above, received during the University closing will not have a completion due date prior to Monday, January 13, 2025.

       

      NOTE: All installation requests must be pre-approved. Network requests require a three-week turnaround time for Request for Quote (RFQ).
