ReSPID My ISDN Telephone
When the telephone display reads "VERIFY SPID," "SPID ERROR," "SPID NG," or if the LCD is blank, the set needs to reacquire information from the telephone network. Follow the instructions below to SPID the telephone set.
Re-SPID an ISDN 1050 National*
Press the key menu button located in the top right-hand corner of the phone. The display identifies 3 of the 4 soft key buttons located directly below the display. (See example)
Ex: ENTER NEXT CLEAR REG

Press the soft key button directly below "REG." The display introduces a menu allowing you to select 1-13 options.

Press the #8 on the dial pad that is the option to SPID.

Press the first soft key button identified as ENTER. The display reads, "ENTER SPID."

From the dial pad, enter 804 + 7 digit number of the phone + 0101.

Press the first soft key button identified as ENTER. The display reads, "SPID ASSIGNMENT END."
This message will remain on the screen a few seconds to allow the configurations to download. After the SPID assignment is
complete, the display will go back to the menu options indicating that the SPID was successful. Press the fourth soft key
button to clear menu options. Make sure there is a dial tone and make a test call.

Press the key menu button located in the top right-hand corner of the phone. The display identifies 3 of the 4 soft key buttons located directly below the display. (See example)

- Press the soft key button directly below "REG." The display introduces a menu allowing you to select 1-13 options.

- From the dial pad, enter 01 + 7 digit number of the phone + 0.
- Press the first soft key button identified as ENTER. The display reads, "SPID ASSIGNMENT END."

complete, the display will go back to the menu options indicating that the SPID was successful. Make sure there is a dial tone
and make a test call.
*How do I know if my set is a custom or national?
The only set that can be either Custom or National is a Fujitsu SRS-1050. Turn the set over and look at the white tag.
SRS-1050 NI = National set. (generally black sets)
SRS-1050 ESS = Custom set (generally white sets)

Select the menu button located directly to the right of the dial pad.

Press the down arrow located to the right of the display screen one time.

Note: Soft keys are located below the display screen. Press the soft key below CONFIGURE. The display will flash, "INCORRECT CONFIGURATION MAY PREVENT SERVICE". Note: The message will go away before you execute the next step)

Press the soft key under BASIC.

The SPID Configuration selection screen appears. Press the soft key under SINGLE.

The display will read, "ENTER PRIMARY SPID." Using the dial pad, hit the CLEAR button, then enter 804 + 7 digit number + 0101.

Press the soft key under DONE.
The display will read, "REQUEST DOWNLOAD?" Press the soft key under YES. The display will read, "PARAMETER DOWNLOAD IN PROGRESS." After the download is complete, the message should read, "PARAMETER DOWNLOAD HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL UPDATING THE PHONE." Make sure there is a dial tone and make a test call.
