ATLAS.ti is a powerful workbench for the qualitative analysis of large bodies of textual, graphical, audio, and video data. Sophisticated tools help you to arrange, reassemble, and manage your material in creative, yet systematic ways. ATLAS.ti keeps you focused on the content itself, whether your field is anthropology, economics, criminology, or medicine.
ATLAS.ti works with:
- Documents, audio clips or photos
- Text documents in all major formats
- Dozens of graphic and audio formats
- Imports data from Evernote and your favorite Reference Manager for a literature review
- Import entire surveys
Licensing and Conditions Information
VCU faculty, staff, and students may access ATLAS.ti on the App2Go server, which is used to support research and is not intended for instructional use.
There are five (5) concurrent licenses of Atlas.ti is available for use on the App2Go server. Only five users may access the application at the same time.
Access & Purchase
ATLAS.ti is available on the App2Go Server without the need to purchase or install the application on your computer. A purchasing option is available for those who wish to install a personal copy on their computer.
Use ATLAS.ti on the App2Go Server
When using ATLAS.ti on the App2Go Server, it appears to be running on your computer. ATLAS.ti runs in a browser window from computers using the Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems. You can open, save, and print files from your PC while using ATLAS.ti on the App2Go Server. Documentation on how to use the App2Go Server will provide you details such as system requirements, installation, opening files, saving files, and printing.
Only current VCU faculty, staff, and students may access ATLAS.ti on the App2Go Server. Applications on the App2Go server are available to support research projects and are not intended for instructional use.
